So excited to move into our new apartment!
I wanted to paint a chalkboard on a portion of the living room wall, but with much more obvious brush strokes at the edges, not at all neat and straight.
(What a cool coincidence that they also did the chalkboard thing on 500 Days of Summer and most recently, the YSL fashion show!)

Focus on the red dot and the blue circle will disappear.
It’s a good illustration of the benefits of proper focus. Surroundings become eliminated with focus.

So I’m on the same page as Sarah Meier, Vicky and Teresa Herrera now? Haha. Thanks Dan!

I remember Vicky telling me about this book when it was still an idea, and how they pitched it to the publishers and got them on board! She was so giddy - talking a hundred miles per hour in perfect english. Haha. So I gathered the book would be about different personalities featured in The Dollhouse (their very awesome, though short-lived radio show). Okay, cool. And then a couple of months back she showed me the cover art. VERY COOL.

But it wasn’t until I got the actual book, flipped through some pages and read a couple of chapters that I realized just what an amazing piece of work this is. Conceptualizing, writing, editing, communicating what they wanted and finally putting it out there (with the dopest book launch, I must add) - Unscripted is truly a work of heart!
